The original Thermyscria (I) was a planet settled by female republic officers three thousand years ago that felt as though they weren't getting their fair share of credit and instead opted to leave their positions and find a place for themselves in the universe. A strong belief in the ways of the force lead them to be pacifists, but trained in the art of war. They had noble houses that ruled through a network of councils. Nine years after the Battle of Yavin, the original Thermyscria was destroyed by Imperial forces wielding the 'Tarkin' Super-class Star Destroyer. A third of the population was able to escape the destruction, but the planet was destroyed before the remaining forces could be gotten off planet.
