History
The story as told to her was that Jessa Wilde was born the only child to Sar’lta and Casim’a Wilde, the owners of the small general store in the tiny little town of Spextara (Now known as Bectown…). Casim’a died during childbirth and left her husband to raise their daughter on his own. As she grew her father tried to protect her from the evils of the world, but there are some lessons and things that even he couldn’t keep her from. Jessa had several run-ins with local U-Col soldiers (Think local militia men…) who, when they couldn’t get what they wanted through guile, took what they wanted by force. These situations left her with scars, both physical and mental as she tried to hurt herself (and nearly succeeded in killing herself…) at least once, but she has come out of this trauma stronger than she was before.

Her dad taught her to shoot and hunt, raising her as something of a tom-boy despite the fact that she was by far the prettiest girl in town. Jessa thought that she had come to terms with what had happened in her life and moved on; that changed when the Corseg brothers and the rest of the members of the 284th came into town and had it out with the local U-Col soldiers. At first Jessa assumed that the town’s trouble was over and then the Imperials showed up right behind the members of the 284th squad and reinstated the U-Col who subsequently executed her father and burnt his store to the ground.

She barely escaped with her life and what little supplies she could round up before setting off on Dewback to find the rest of the Squad. It didn’t take much to convince them that she wanted to join their makeshift Rebellion and she has been with them ever since.
