Bira was taken in by the corporations weapons master as an apprentice, in reality he was being punished for his failure on another matter and was given Bira to train. The masters supposed that he would fail and in doing so would sign both he and Bira's death warrant. In reality Bira turned out to be the best student he'd ever produced and the two quickly rose through the ranks of the corporation with Bira taking a position as an Assassin. She'd killed many people over her short life but that all came to an end when she was asked to do the one thing that up until that time had never been asked of her. Bira was given orders to kill a group of children, they were the children of a rival organization's executives. Bira, for reasons known only to her, turned on her masters and refused to perform the job going so far as to execute the assassins they sent to replace her.
