At the age of thirteen he was accepted as the Padawan learner of Jedi Knight Caleb Quint, serving along side his master as his Padawan until the Jedi Purge some twelve years later. Not much is known about the time he and his master spent on the run other then that Kenzil and Caleb were separated on Ord Mandel and Kenzil was captured by Imperial bounty hunters and was almost executed. Lord Vader instead had him imprisoned on Galtos Talkon where he was kept and interrogated for the next nineteen years. How Kenzil managed not to break from the torture is anyone's guess and it was on the eve of his execution orders being signed that his salvation arrived in the form of Stromgald Caballa. Stromgald and the Mutt Squad had come to the prison to break out two highly placed Rebel spies and ended up getting Kenzil Truett as well. Kenzil would eventually play teacher to both Stromgald and Akiva Rostoni before his death at the hands of his fellow former Padawan High Inquisitor Treymane. |
