History: No one is sure where Ghnim the Merciless came from, the Mutt Squad heard rumors about the powerful Sith Master as far back as their early involvement in the rebellion but wouldn't actually meet him until years later when Kae' Caballa went to Gonmo to free his people from the oppression that he kept them under. Kae' and Wald were captured and held in a dungeon that had a Yaslamari in it. Kae' was able to get rid of the Yaslamari and get free from the dungeon (with the held of Ghnim's apprentice (and daughter) Selorna. Kae' challenged Ghnim to a lightsaber dual in front of his royal court and was barely able to defeat him in lightsaber combat. Ghnim died at his hands, heralding Kae' into Knighthood. Kae' was crowned ruler of Gonmo and concubine to Selorna. Neither title was ever taken up and it is said that the royal palace on Gonmo is haunted by the ghost of Ghnim to this day and that he waits to return and take his rightful place in the universe. |
