History from the Tomorrow People:
Tim is an advanced computer based in the Tomorrow People's Lab. He was constructed by John, with help from the Galactic Federation, Timon Irnok Manta constructed key components and provided his voice. He is based on biological components, and can be considered to be alive. He can not be switched off, his external connections can be deactivated, but he still continues to think. Tim has some telepathic abilities, he can communicate via telepathy and can create objects from nothing. He controls the jaunting belts and bands, as well as the communication and teleporting equipment used between Earth and the Galactic Federation. He can connect to most of the computers in the country, and has access to almost unlimited information. He acts as a father figure to the Tomorrow People, and is very protective of them, he will sometimes rebel against the Galactic Federation to support the Tomorrow People.

History in the Kilb-iverse:
Some twenty years before the battle of Yavin a series of Jedi ships were sent out beyond the fringes of the known galaxy to explore and try to find other civilizations. It's thought that clone troops aboard the ship wiped out the Jedi's as was Palpatine's plan. In some situations that might have been the case. In the case of the Quadrian Jedi vessel it made a jump into hyperspace and hit a semi-stable wormhole that sent it spiraling out of control and countless light years off course. The matter was made worse when they came out of the wormhole and hit a fluctuating radiation field near the sixth planet in the system. This field killed their sensors, communications and hyperdrive systems effectively rendering them blind. By sheer luck they crashed on the third planet from the sun, the only planet with a habitable atmosphere. Those who survived were rescued by a fishing trolley and via the force's ability to translate languages they were able to converse with their rescuers and told a story about having escaped from a downed ship. Those that survived were taken back to civilization and began trying to work their way into this new society, a society that, at the time, hadn't even developed real space travel beyond their own moon. The Jedi's and their crew drifted around and over time split up going their separate ways. Some died, others married and became a part of the society and others simply faded away never to be seen again.

Timon Irnok Manta (A gifted and powerful healer) was a Jedi Knight who lived some forty years before the Outbound program left to explore the stars. It was found that he had an incurable affliction and so he downloaded his memories, thoughts, training and personality into a holocron before passing on into the force. His training holocron was placed aboard the ship that ended up crash-landing on Earth and it wasn't until John retrieved him from the wreckage that he realized what had happen. He and John developed the Jaunt force skill and it was through Timon that John constructed the lab and the housing for Timon's computer network through out the complex. Timon has taken to watching over the younglings to make sure that they stay out of trouble and are taken care of.

When Kae' Caballa saw the lab, his first reaction was that it was set up like a Jedi academy, the truth of the matter is that the design is similar in nature to the academy on Dantooine that existed long before Boggins set his up. When the younglings left Earth Timon was taken with them. He is now housed in the academy on Yavin-4 where he looks after the younglings.
