She lived with her boyfriend Denny in a comfortable apartment. Juliet's world was torn apart when the Visitors plot to discredit the world's scientists was put into effect. Doctors and faculty members at the hospital began to disappear, and Denny began to lose clients at his brokerage firm. When Julie realized that she was the cause, she and Denny separated. Julie understood that the Visitors must be afraid that the scientists would learn something to discredit the Visitors, and she soon formed the first resistance movement in Los Angeles. Though at first she resisted being called their Leader, it was Julie who planned and implemented resistance raids, provided medical care, and formed the ragtag group into a cohesive unit. Resisting a conversion attempt by Diana, Juliet went on to develop the red dust toxin that was used to drive the Visitors away from earth. Following the First Invasion, Julie, deeply in love with Mike Donovan, went to work for Nathan Bates at Science Frontiers. There she worked to find another weapon against the Visitors, while concealing her allegiance with the Resistance from Bates. Julie acts as a big sister and mentor to Elizabeth. She is finally revealed as a Resistance member and forced to flee her position at Science Frontiers, when Nathan uses a secret operative to get photos of her with Donovan and Tyler. |
