And what better way to keep bust than by studying what no one else has ever seen? Xenobiology came into it's own sometime after interstellar travel became a way of life. Most are employed by major corporations, or are funded by institutes of higher learning. Their job is simple: locate, catalog and study all new alien species with regards to their impact on human culture, warfare and needs. Many are given huge bonuses for finding aliens that have monetary potential for farming, social (pets), or military applications. These scientists are not motivated by greed though, only knowledge, and they tend to reinvest these bonuses in the pursuit of it. Personality: Introspective, aloof, egotistical and arrogant.
